DONALD REEDER
Donald Reeder came on the race track in 1962 with M. H. Van Berg, the leading trainer in the country at that time and to Philadelphia Park in 1979 under Dennis Heimer, leading trainer at Keystone Race Track. He is consistently one of the leading trainers in this area, has raised his family in southeastern Pennsylvania and plans to stay here the rest of his career.
For the past twelve years Don has been a board member and 2nd Vice-President of the PTHA. His main focus is to do anything he can to help horse racing and breeding to thrive in Pennsylvania. He says that during the past 12 years we have progressed from the worst live racing agreement to what he considers the best live racing agreement at any track in the country.
