SECURITY ZERO FROM RONNY WERNER'S BARN TO LIFE-SAVING SURGERY AT HOGAN EQUINE
SECURITY ZERO
WITH CONDYLAR FRACTURE
Turning For Home has accepted 500 horses from Philadelphia Park/Parx into our program since we opened our doors in 2008. Many of our horses came to us in need of immediate surgery to repair fractures or have chips removed from joints -- all procedures done for us at cost by Dr. Patty Hogan and her staff at Hogan Equine.Dr. Hogan and
Turning For Home works hard to rehabilitate those horses whose prognoses for second careers can be accomplished through these medical procedures. Surgery and the following months of rehab are expensive for us.
Please consider sponsoring a horse like SECURITY ZERO until he can find a home. The cost to TFH is $3,000 for repair of a condylar fracture and six months of rehabilitation.
TFH takes on this expense at least once a month for horses that may have no other alternative other than to be euthanized. We want to give them all a chance at a second life!
